WIP: A baby...cardigan

There is a baby in the making. Not mine. A friend is expecting her second child; a baby boy that should arrive as an early Christmas present.

She likes to crochet; I love to knit. I have not seen any of her projects. She has never seen one of mine...yet.

Some baby sweaters = instant gratification. The Little Coffee Bean Cardigan fits the bill. It also looks super cute in stripes.

(If you are following my blog, you have noticed that I'm just the opposite as Andi from "My sister's knitter" in terms of monogamy. Fingers crossed all my WIPS will be done in this decade).

I'm liking to "Tamis Amis WIPs". Go check out other WIPs here.

It ain't easy being green...

How you start a post about a project (almost) finished ages ago?  Is not as easy as it sounds to take pictures and hit publish with a two year old clinging to your leg. I'm just saying. So how about a short and sweet post?

After sewing a button, which took three minutes, this scarf went from WIP to FO. You already know about my love for this Jane Richmond pattern...

There are other WIPs that I cannot wait to share here. Is so nice when my knits go according to the plan and the pattern! A cowl and a baby sweater are awaiting time in front of the camera. Until that happens, have a wonderful time with your yarn cakes!

WIP: Lady Kina

The Lady is my first cardigan and I cannot be happier with how it turned out! I love its fit, length, color, and everything else you could imagine.

I would knit this pattern again. If anything, I will change the length of the sleeves. Maybe three fourths sleeves?!?

The Lady still needs a button, a bath and some blocking before it can debut in the Atlanta streets. I can't wait to convert this into an FO!

I'm joining in Tami's Amis WIPs along! Have to go now to check other WIPS.
