Memorial Day Weekend

For some of us it has been a long weekend. Today is Memorial Day in the US.

We have had very relaxing days  here at my Southern niche. There has been some day trips, shopping, good eating, knitting and just a little of housework. I've been also updating my stash in Ravelry with the  enhancements from Stitches South.

FO: First pair of socks

This is my first pair of socks. There is nothing fancy about them.  They are far from perfect. Yet, I like these socks so much! Never in my life would I thought about knitting socks until I "met" Andi, from My Sisters Knitter. Her socks are such an inspiration that one can not just sit and admire. One have to give it a try.

Etsy Love: Decal Edition

Black and White. Knitting inspired. What's not to love? Is raining in Atlanta. Perfect weather for finishing a sock weight square for Bertie's blanket, making a dent on a shawl or casting on a sock.
