This week
is all about basic knitting and purling. Thank you Brandy Fortune for putting together the Basic Winter Hat. I am using cotton leftovers from a blanket I knitted two years ago. My toddler is
getting a hat this time around. I know, I will not be invited to the seasonal
knitting club. But, you cannot argue that I am well ahead with my 2012
holiday gifts. There are always at least two sides of the story; knitting is not
the exception.
I have not mastered knitting while reading a hardcover book yet. I may be missing some tools or flexibility. While I am not knitting, I have been reading The Best Advice I Ever Got: Lessons from Extraordinary Lives by Katie Couric. The book is a compilation of essays from famous people. Some essays are really good while others have done nothing for me. Mr. Bill Cosby – I know you are reading; I loved your essay! In my humble opinion, this is a nice book to get out of the library.
This is my first time looping in with Ginny's Yarn-Along! Now that you are done with me, why don't you check out what other yarnies have to share?
That yarn is exquisite!
