My fiber goals for the new year are simple. Most important, I've promised myself not to stress about them. I know you will not judge me if I only knit a hat in 2015.
goals or wishes?
- finish three pair of socks
- cast off two sweaters
- start spinning for a sweater
- stash down (yarn not fiber)
- craft everyday
- participate in a KAL or SAL
- charity knitting
I'll be back in the new year! In the meantime, you can find me at the treadmill. The smaller the size I cast on, the easier to achieve the goal.
Your list reminds me of a sweater I need to finish! It's a wish and a goal!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you! It's been inspiring seeing your beautiful knits and spinning!
thanks Kate! lets finish those sweaters...
DeleteExcellent list!
ReplyDeleteHad to laugh at your cute comment, " The smaller the size I cast on..." :)
thanks Andi...loosing a few pounds should be a goal...but is far more interesting if I link it to my passion!
Deletei guess it really IS time to think on those 'goals'.....which usually turn out to be unfulfilled wishes!!!! :) Great motivation....smaller sizes, faster knit time, less yarn used......just might get me motivated, too!
ReplyDeleteless yarn used = less $ per project = leftover $ for stash enhancements
Deletethanks for stopping by Steph! :-)
Looks like a good list to me! See you in 2015!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for the New Year, Britney!
DeleteThose seem like perfect goals for the new year. And not to stress about them is the best goal of all to have :)
ReplyDeleteunrealistic goals and self imposed deadlines don't mix well with my hobby ;-) Happy New Year (let's start the celebration now...why not?).
