When in doubt...

I have not been very efficient casting off projects as I have been enhancing my stash and knitting library. Why do I need more books and yarn while I am not knitting fast enough? It is a mystery. One that I have no interest in solving.

Without further ado, here are a few of my recent purchases. These six skeins are destined to become a shawl when they grow up. Perhaps a Tailwind or Color Affection. The 64% Cotton and 43% Linen yarn, Berroco Linsey, is discontinued and therefore was deeply discounted at my LYS.

I also got  some gorgeous Baby Yak Wool in burgundy and brown. Per their tags, the "yarns are 100% traceable, purchased directly from cooperatives...".

I couldn't pass on this cute Ravelry bag while also getting educated on how to spell Romeldale!

Finally, the latest book from Carrie Hostick Boge. That means that I have all the books she had self published as of now. Love her work to the moon and back.

    1. Thanks Tahnee. I cant't wait to cast on something with my new yarn. You know how it is...new yarn = new shiny object.

  2. Beautiful stash enhancements. My library is filled with more patterns than I will probably knit in a lifetime, but it is always good to have options, right? :)
