WIP: Cap Sleeve Lattice Top

There is so much that I like about this project. It is a free Purl Bee pattern. It is easily adaptable; the top can be knit as written or modified to be worked in the round.
Don’t get me started on the possible color combinations. We will need to get coffee over that long conversation.
I got creative with yarns from my stash:

  • lace section: Malabrigo Rios (Worsted / 10 ply / 100% Merino)
  • stockinette section: LB Collection SW Merino (DK / 8 ply / 100% Merino)

The combination of lace and stockinette makes it harder to notice that I am using different yarn weights. Clever, ha? If you don't find it clever...that is okay; we can still be friends. Project page: here.

What WIP is keeping you busy this week?

  2. I have this pattern queued. I have to say ... yours is tempting me to move it to the forefront of my to do list.

Beautiful and I really, really, really love the colour combo you've used. If you hadn't said, I would not have known the yarn weights are different. Thanks so much for sharing.

  3. I'm in love with the colors you chose!
I've been on the hunt for a nice worsted yarn for the Rye socks. No luck yet, but I was distracted by some pretty dk and fingering weight pieces, so I'm working on the toe increases for one of them. ;]

    1. Thanks Christine! I've been following up your blog but for some reason got errors and couldn't leave comments on the last two posts. Meant to send an email about that. I mostly ready with my iPad-not sure if that has something to do with the tech issues. Have a great Sunday!
