FO: Seafoam

This scarf has been in the "almost done" basket for too long. I finally weaved the ends and steam blocked it. I love how it turned out; especially after my lack of enthusiasm with the yarn. It is Lion Brand Wool Ease from my early knitting days.

As a FO, the scarf has nice drape, color and stitch definition. This pattern can be a bit addictive as you see the waves forming. Additional details on my ravelry.

Have you heard about the Knit Picks's Pinterest contest? I confess that I can easily go overboard pinning and repining...so this contest is perfect for me. Details here.

My big plans for the weekend are to take as many naps as possible, pin my "Endless Summer" board and cast on the "Colonnade" shawl from Stephen West. What is on your weekend list?

  2. Oh wow! I've knitted one of those before (years ago), but it didn't look even half that nice! That looks absolutely perfect and the color is perfect as well. It looks very chic, fantastic work!

  6. Beautiful Monica! Good for you for finishing this. Sometimes it is hard to go back to a project that has been waiting for it's final touches. Since I have no patience I would have just frogged it, but then I would not have that beautiful scarf. :)
