New York and some knitting

I can't believe a couple weeks had passed since my last post. Traveling and a cold got my attention while I was missing in action.

Manhattan doesn’t get old for us. We recently spent five fabulous days in the city. Favorite experiences:
From Purl Soho: Manos del Uruguay Fino in Rosewater and Madelinetosh Merino DK in Calligraphy  I cannot put into words how much I like these yarns. Trust me!

In Progress is a cowl that I am loving so much that it isn't easy to put it down. The free pattern was written by  Cailliau Berangere.

What have you been working on?

  1. Sounds like you had a lot of fun while in Manhattan. :]
Those skeins look beautiful, and I can see why you have trouble putting down that cowl, the pattern looks like a lot of fun to see grow. :D

  3. It sounds like you had a great time...I will have to check out some of the places you mentioned next time I go! The cowl looks gorgeous in that yarn colour.

  4. Love that yarn! I was at Purl Soho earlier this month on a visit to Manhatten and I can't imagine getting tired of visiting the city.
